The Great Gatsby Chapter 5 Notes

What I read in this chapter it was basically Gatsby wanting Daisy back. For it talks about how Nick sees Gatsbys house so bright like if it was burning. Then they were swimming in the pools. Gatsby wanted to tell the plan to Nick so that he can invite Daisy for some tea. Gatsby also wanted someone to cut his yards grass. He also wanted to offer Nick money  from the business that he is on, but does not have to do anything with Mr. Wolfshiem. Nick does not want to receive money because he just wants to help Gatsby with no cost. But they still do the plan of inviting Daisy over. The day Daisy was going to go over to Gatsby's house he was nervous because he was thinking that nothing was going to between them. Once the first meeting between them two was awkward, but then they started to see each other more and start getting along. Then one day the rain stop and Gatsby was talking about his luxury goods to Daisy and Nick, but then things started to be different so Nick left and Gatsby and Daidy were by there self.

The green light from Daisy's dock is a symbol. It's a symbol for Gastby that means he has a second chance for him to be with Daisy.

Well on what I think when you are breaking the law is when you actually have that feeling that you are doing something wrong. If you have a weird feeling that you should not do something then you should know that you are doing something that you shouldn't be doing. When it is right to break the law well you can feel that you are not doing something bad. You might have a good cause of breaking the rule and not just because you want to. So it kinda makes sense in when you should not break the law or when you should.

YOUNG GOODMAN BROWN

In the story of "Young Goodman Brown" is about 2 persons that are named Faith and young Goodman Brown. Both of their name is had a meaning. Later on in the story I think that something bad is going to happen because for some reason Faith was holding him back. I feel like Faith knows something that Goodman Brown doesn't.
